Will iScore Baseball work on my iPod Touch or iPad? Do I need a network connection to score a game?
iScore Baseball/Softball will work on any iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. The only requirement is that you are running iPhone Operating System version 3.0 or higher. You can check the version of your Operating System by clicking the Settings icon on your device, then click the General setting, then About. One of the items listed will be Version. If you are running a version prior to 3.0, you can upgrade by connecting your device to iTunes, and clicking the "Check for Update" button
An Internet connection is not required to score a game. There are some optional features such as i-Scorecast (a feature where the play by play is broadcast in real-time to the Internet) that would not be available without a network connection but these features do not affect scorekeeping and the core scoring functionality does not require an Internet connection.
Results can be emailed at a later time over Wifi when a network connection is available.
