If the Game Setting "Has Overtimes" is set to Yes, then when a game ends in a tie, the Next Period button will appear.
If there is an overtime period then press Next Period.

When the shootout is complete, press the Options button in the bottom bar and select End Game.

tap on the first player involved in the shootout, scroll to the bottom of the Action dialog, select Shootout Kick and record the result of the kick. Continue this sequence until the shootout is over.
